SURFThe beautiful sandy beach is 1,500 feet wide and extends 1,200 feet from the seafront at low water. A great surfing beach with excellent facilities. Surf Lessons and equipment are available to hire by the hour, day or week. There’s lifeguard cover during the summer and Easter holiday periods.
WALKINGThe South-West Coastal Path takes you to Pentire Point and The Rumps in one direction and to Daymer Bay and Rock in the other. From Rock, it is a short foot ferry ride away to Padstow. www.padstow-harbour.co.uk/ferry
